The best moments of childhood happen when imagination takes the lead.

Khayā means home. To us, home is more than a place. It’s where children feel safe enough to imagine, explore and become themselves.

We created The Lounger as more than just a piece of furniture. It’s a space to build, create, explore and imagine, where a sofa can become a fort, a shop, a stage or an entire world.

Through open-ended play, children have the freedom to make their own choices, solve problems, express themselves and build confidence. Because some of the most important things children learn happen naturally through play, right at home.

What We Value

Play should be open-ended.

We believe imagination shouldn’t have limits.

There’s no right way to play, no instructions to follow and no limit to what the Lounger can become. A fort, a shop, a castle or something only they can imagine.

Made for play. Designed for your home

We believe kids’ furniture shouldn’t compromise your home’s aesthetic. The Lounger combines thoughtful design, neutral tones and premium finishes to create a piece that feels at home in your living space.

Designed for safe play.

The soft, durable fabric is designed for comfort, while the removable covers can be machine washed and air dried.

Thoughtfully designed safety pockets conceal the zips, keeping them safely tucked away so there are no sharp edges or scratches during play.

The sofa is the canvas, the scenes are the adventures.

Our hand-illustrated Play Scenes transform the Lounger into cafés, bakeries, pizzerias and ice cream shops.

Each scene opens the door to a new world of pretend play, giving their imagination a place to begin and letting them decide what happens next.

Thank you for making Khaya & Co part of your home.

Whether it becomes a fort, a castle, a reading nook or a rocket ship, we cannot wait to see the adventures your little one creates. Tag us @khayaandco.
